Education is POWER: At the Friedel Family Foundation, we know that with “A Better Brain comes a Better Life.”
That’s why we supports the effort to educate Individuals to understand better Brain Health and mood dysregulation issues from a Neurotheology approach. That’s why we focus on innovative approaches and most Naturopathic approach to brain health.
To fulfill our mission of improving brain health across the lifespan, we are expanding access to educational programs such as:
Our goal is to raise $75,000 each year to bring these transformative, science-based programs to individuals through our partnerships.
These practical, neuroscience-backed education programs for better brain health empower individuals to thrive cognitively, emotionally, and socially. The average cost to provide these programs is approximately $100 per participant, this initiative allows us to maximize impact and deliver meaningful brain health education on a statewide scale.
These Education programs—especially Brain Thrive by 25, and Neurotheology—are built around a powerful prevention strategy teaching students by engaging through: Real brain imaging that shows the difference between healthy and drug-affected brains. A focus on self-respect, empowerment, and long-term success. Debunking popular myths like “alcohol is healthy,” “marijuana is harmless,” or “vaping is safe.” Framing every choice as a step toward the future they want.

This science-based early childhood program is designed for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. Through interactive lessons and age appropriate visuals, children are introduced to brain basics and empowered to make good choices that support healthy development.

Targeted toward adolescents and young adults, this science-based curriculum helps participants understand and optimize their developing brains. With engaging modules and relatable examples, it offers tools to improve decision-making, mental resilience, and emotional regulation.
Neurotheology is an emerging field of study and practice that seeks to understand the relationship between Brain science and Theology .
A Neurtheologist is a specialized theologian who focuses on the whole human, helping those struggling to tap into the power within and beyond themselves to reach LIFE. The central question neurotheology addresses is whether the issue lies in your Brain, your Soul, or both. The Friedel Family Foundation supports educational programs providing education in this field from lay programs to Post-Graduate level through Scholarships.
Seven Pillars of Neurotheology: (by Rabbi Dr. Rich Friedel PhD, ThD, DM )
1. A healthier brain means a more balanced brain
2. A balanced brain builds more brain reserve
3. More brain reserve opens perception, allowing for growth
4. A broader perception opens a broader prospective bridge to theology
5. An understanding of theology (LIFE's philosophy) reduces fear
6. A reduction in fear equals security, and the ability to understand existence's meaningful purpose
7. Understanding the purpose of existence allows for the discovery of what is beyond existence, the meaning of "LIFE."
